Innovative solutions as part of our growth strategy

The world is changing, and we are evolving alongside it. As a growth-oriented company, we are constantly working on new technologies to develop innovative products for a variety of markets. Curiosity, a spirit of experimentation and a willingness to break new ground are our constant companions. In doing so, we focus on the needs of consumers and the challenges of everyday life.

Successful product innovations

The tricky challenges of everyday life have always inspired our product development. The iconic Dr. Beckmann Fleckenteufel range was developed in the 1970s and designed to tackle a variety of different types of stains. To this day, the range remains an integral part of our portfolio and continues to be one of our most successful products worldwide.

Our oxygen-based stain remover (Oxi-Power) has also been part of our product portfolio for many years. It was developed in the 1980s as part of the move away from phosphates in laundry detergents. We continually respond to changes in markets, consumer demands and regulatory frameworks, incorporating them into our product development.

Practical and surprisingly simple

As well as quality, our product innovations focus on practical and easy-to-use design: for example, the Dr. Beckmann Carpet Stain Brush was developed in 2010, combining an effective cleaning formula with an integrated brush for direct application on carpets and upholstery. In 2026, our Carpet Stain Brush was relaunched with a redesigned brush head. For the first time, this combines bristles and a sponge made from a single-material structure of polyethylene (PE), thereby enhancing the recyclability of the packaging components.

Market expansion with innovative technologies

Using MAGIC LEAVES® technology, Dr. Beckmann entered the market for pre-measured laundry detergents in 2022. The compact sheet format facilitates easy dosing and handling and requires less space for storage and  transport. At the same time, it offers consumers an alternative to conventional liquid or powder laundry detergents. In 2024, MAGIC LEAVES® technology was extended to toilet, all-purpose and floor cleaners, before the product portfolio was expanded to include fabric softener sheets in 2025. The expansion into further product categories reflects the continuous development of the technology platform and its application across various cleaning segments.

"Our team is driven by curiosity, creativity and a desire to improve. Every day, we ask ourselves how we can better meet the needs of our customers and which new technologies, materials and solutions will help us to advance."
