A new era at delta pronatura as Nils Beckmann takes charge

The owner families pass on management of the Group to the next generation / Beckmann becomes CEO within a four-person Management Board

Egelsbach, 16 February 2024 – a new era is about to begin at delta pronatura GmbH, the international, family-owned corporate group based in Egelsbach near Frankfurt. Heiner Beckmann (75) and Gerhard Krauß (62), who have managed the company as owners for many years, are now passing on the baton to the next generation. Nils Beckmann (40) is stepping into the position of CEO. He and the three other members of the Management Board will take charge of the running of the company, which owns the Dr. Beckmann, Bullrich, Blistex and Bi-Oil brands.


“The world is changing – as is our company,” says Heiner Beckmann. “Speed and innovation are now the recipe for success. Like many family-run German SMEs, we need to be willing to undergo fundamental transformation. We began preparing systematically for the challenges of the future a few years ago. As a result, we are now able to hand over a healthy, well-prepared company at the right time. We have strong brands, fantastic colleagues and an experienced management team at the helm.”


In addition to Nils Beckmann, CEO, the Management Board also includes Marco Buschmeier (52) who, as CMO, is in charge of the Marketing, Innovation & Development and Sustainability division. COO Michael Klingel (52) came on board in October as Director Global Operations, while CFO Jan Zimpelmann (49) has held the post of Director Finance & Administration since November. In the future, all four will form part of the management team. The formal appointments of the new Board members will be made gradually in the coming months in line with the length of their service at the company. Heiner Beckmann and Gerhard Krauß stepped back from the operational side of the business at the end of 2023.

A medium-sized company with around 480 employees, delta pronatura has been in business continuously for many years. The company coordinates marketing and sales in over 70 countries from its headquarters in Egelsbach. Dr. Beckmann is the company’s flagship brand. The core messaging is around offering effective, innovative products that are sustainable, save resources and that make life easier for consumers.

Dr. Beckmann is known in homes around the world for its highly effective and easy-to-use products that take the hassle out of daily household chores.
