Dr. Beckmann Group Creates New Key Position

Egelsbach, 1 August 2025 – As part of its globally oriented growth strategy, the Dr. Beckmann Group is strengthening its organizational structure: On 1 August, Andreas Weichert will take on the newly created role of Director Global Supply Chain Management. In this function, he will report directly to Michael Klingel, Chief Operating Officer of the Dr. Beckmann Group.

The new position highlights the Dr. Beckmann Group’s strategic focus on developing global supply chain structures – particularly in the context of site expansion in Egelsbach, international growth, and continuously increasing demand.

His experience in international production control and his understanding of efficient, sustainable logistics processes will purposefully strengthen our global supply chain architecture – especially in this dynamic growth phase,” says Michael Klingel, Chief Operating Officer of the Dr. Beckmann Group.

Andreas Weichert brings many years of experience in managing complex planning and logistics processes. Most recently, he served as Head of Planning & Logistics at DAW SE, and previously held various positions at Knauf Insulation, including Operations Director Central Europe.

With this new role, the Dr. Beckmann Group is sending a clear signal for its long-term expansion. In addition to innovation and international brand leadership, the company is also focusing on resilient supply chain structures.
